grease up a pig and let it loose in the people's bank
On another note, I had what I consider my best find yet in roll hunting halves. In a Loomis box I found but one lonely silver coin. A 1951 Booker T. Washington Comemmorative. It's decently worn but has some nice toning on it. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up soon.

Brand spanking new to the forum and the half dollar hunters! A very good friend of mine shared this website with me and love to read the "finds" that people get. He gave me the ins and outs on where and where not to find the halves.
Tried my luck at a small town bank where my son goes to school. Asked the teller if they had any halves that I could buy. Her eyes widened and she thought I was santa clause asking to take them off her hands. She pulled the bag right off the coin counter and dumped them right infront of me, $365 worth.
Went thru them later that day, 10 winners! 2 1964's, 4 67's and 4 69's.
Getting 2 boxes from Wells Fargo within the next couple days. Will let you know what I find....

Did two boxes this weekend from my new supply bank. Here are the results:
Box #1 15 - 40% 2 - 90%
Box #2 31 - 40% 1963 Ben (was showing on the end of the roll) 1941 Walker (well worn, barely make date out) 2 impaired proofs (89S and 73S) and yes, not just one but TWO 87D's. Were in the same box. I really never paid much attention to this date but after reading about the 87's here on this forum, I started to look. They both are in AU condition so I figure I will hang onto them. They should command a premium in the future.

Twangator; GREAT HAUL! You wouldn't want to tell all us 'Prospectors' where your GOOD bank is, would you?

Ripped thru 2 boxes last night. Box one produced 1 '64. Box 2 was the tale of old and new. 1 '64 and 1 '69. It also produced 6 06P's and 12 06D's. I'm relatively new to this and have gone through maybe upwards of $5k in coins and never came across an 06.
Got another $230 hand rolled rolls from a small town bank, cant wait to see what this holds...

1 Box total- from my first ever "Brinks" box- brown/white paper wrapping. Not very good: 1-1950P Franklin 1-1954D Franklin 1-1964P Kennedy and 1- 1987D Kennedy (NIFC) my first 87D!(already found 2 1987P's. Anyone have any luck with Brinks as I'm not sure if I want to try another Brinks Box next week. *Next 2 boxes later this week will be from my regular source. ( Not Brinks!)*

Picked up a Brinks box today and only 1 - 40% and a 2008D. I did find this interesting counterstamp! This will go nicely with my Kennedy counterstamped Lincoln cents!
