I have seen a couple ads for top 100 and newer "50" cd's related to VAM's.
Any experience with these, and what are the newest releases.
Thanks

murty,

There are several out and available: 1878 8TF, 1878-S, Top 100 and Hot 50. I don't have any of these but would like to add the 78-S to my library. I have the 8TF book (the CD is the same) and it has much more information than the VAMWorld pages.

Are the books better or do you prefer the cd for the Top 100 and Hot 50.

murty,

It's probably just personal preference, but I like having the book opened. They are well constructed and don't show signs of wear after 100's of hours of use and abuse. I am on ebay alot and I have numerous tabs open on the browser already (EBay, VAMWorld, Price Guide, etc.). If you have a high-end system that can handle the load, CD's would probably be more convenient. And they do take up less space in the work area. My work area always looks like an IED just went off.

I think the CDs are more up-to-date than the books are right now. However the 4th ed came out recently and that is supposed to have better pics and info. So Get the 4th ed. if you go with the book.
