I belive this is a 2001. ALL pillars are very wide, with thick and thin details on each. All are different. There is (what looks to be) extra pillars way outside each end pillar.

Die abrasion will affect the edges of the columns. This over cleaning/polishing to cover a die clash removes a little more edges of the columns thus making it appear the there is more column with there when it is just an over polished die. These polished dies look uneven in texture. If it were a doubled die, the line would be stronger and straight. Yours appear to be from abrasion.
