svslav Pillar of the Community United States 2605 Posts	Posted 11/18/2009 10:31 pm I've had this coin for about 10 years, never have been able to figure out if there was any significance to that mark. It's a 1819 halfcrown, by the way. First question, does anybody have any idea what this mark could be? Second question. I have another halfcrown, 1917, same type, about same value. I don't want to hold on to both, I'd rather swap one. Does this mark make it "special", the one I want to keep; or it's rather a detriment, and I better save the "whole" one?
