I'm thinking that no doubled knees will make it a 004

004 looks like a good candidate. Have you tried verifying the markers?

Remember the coppercoins site? Go there and search 1999D, go to the 002 and 004 links and look at the EDS or MDS or both links for each DDO. They will usually list markers like die scratches, chips, clashes, etc. If you can find ALL of the markers they have listed, you can confirm your DDO.

Thank You I have been enlightened

Scooby, the EDS markings are pretty much there on the reverse, in the 002 but nothing in the MDS

Nothing matches in the 004 at all
Also what would be the grade of the cent?

I'm not quite confident yet in my grading skills, but you appear have a very nice coin. Post it in the grading forum, and let some of the pros give it a look.

P.S. Try and crop the pictures so that just the whole coin shows, and it should make it a little bigger and easier to see. Also, post pics of the front and back!

How much are coins like these worth, I have over 20 of them from 1999 to 2008, some doubled 7th, some tripled 7th, and one doubled 6th. some of them match listings on CC and most of them do not. look the same but I can not match up die markers.
