hello,
I am not sure what to do. either send this cent to CCCS, PCGS or NGC, or sell it raw.... If I have it slabbed by a TPG, an automatic value is assumed for it by the market place, because TRENDS says so!.Price should then be around 70-80% of Trends.BUT.........,If I sell it raw, everyone is trying to outguess another person by bidding accordingly.. Which is the better way to go to sell it? One thing is for sure, IT is not a forgery. WHAT grade is ?????????? thanks for all your upcoming input H
AU - give or take. Pictures are tough sometimes. I'd have it graded. Looks like an Obv 1 so a grade up or down doubles or halves the value. Seems like a risk to let some ebay speculator decide the grade of a $500-$1000 coin. Really nice coin
Great coin! Definitely a C-1. Minimum EF-45 and likely AU. If you put it out to auction raw just place a reserve on it. This coin is one of the most sought after Victorias of any series. It'll sell.
well HHB, first very nice pic..... Grade should easily go MS 62 or 63 Br...Now if you send it to any TPG I vote on PCGS .... Me personally I hate all TPGS , when it comes right down to it it is only THEIR OPINION any ways as to the grade....... So why let them dictate the value..
SELL IT RAW WITH A RESERVE...You know what you paid , and what you need to be happy....
Nice coin defiantly one of few in that grade I would get it hard slab graded by your favorite grading company just for the protection of your coin if for nothing else.
