Wow, nice tone. I'd say XF-AU, or low MS possibility, has good appeal to me as I like dollars and halves with some toning to them.

Nice find.

The toning looks OK to me also, I agree it was probably in an album but it also looks like it might has been exposed to to some moisture while there which caused some staining.

From the picture provided I really can't say with any certainty but it looks ok, not very attractive, but ok.

Actually, its' unattractiveness tends to lend support to the originality.
