I cut and pasted an email I just got from ebay. Hope it's not old news. This will make it a lot easier for me to sell and find inexpensive coins.

Dear thomcollects:

We wanted to remind you that starting March 30, 2010 selling on eBay will be a better deal than ever!

List Auction-style FREE--no Insertion Fees--when you start your Auction-style listing under $1.

Get new, lower Insertion Fees for all other start prices.

Either way, pay one easy Final Value Fee of 9% of the winning bid (but never more than $50)--and pay only if your item sells.

List in Fixed Price for 50¢, with Final Value Fees for the most part staying the same.
This new standard fee structure will replace the current "first 5 listings free"--you'll pay no Insertion Fees whenever you list Auction-style and start pricing under $1!*

Get complete details on the new eBay fees and get ready to SELL!

Sincerely,

eBay Seller Team

*Up to a maximum of 100 listings per month

I think it has been posted before, but remember the 9% FVF is a rip off, even for low value items its worse than before, but when you are talking about higher value stuff, it really burns sellers badly. Say goodbye to a lot of the mid-high end coin listings on ebay = (

Aren't they sweet? I farmed-out alot of mine because I didn't like the $50+ I was paying daily. This way, I dont have to look at it.

I will be closing my eBay store soon, I might try their new "lower" prices for a month or two.

Here is how this works:

Pros - Store items get same coverage as regular listings.

Cons - No longer $.03 every 30 days, say hello to $.20 a listing. Combine that with the monthly store fee and 8%+ FVF, its not worth my time. Also - figure the % Paypal takes.

Sorry eBay, I don't see how raising my fees from .03 to .20 is of any help to me.
