Came across this on eBay. Thought it was pretty funny:

I notice this quite a bit on eBay, was wondering if people don't pay attention or have photo hosting trouble or what?

I think they are just careless, posting multiple auctions, and not editing the verbage.

It's very easy to do when you reuse listings.

The next time I do that won't be the first.

I did something similar two weeks ago, and almost took a bath on a semi-key Lincoln. I loaded the wrong picture (1912-S listed, 1912-D picture), and did not notice until there were bids placed and there was less than 12 hours remaining. I tried to make a correction, but ebay's policy is that no changes can be made if there is less than 12 hours remaining. I got a couple emails informing of the wrong picture, or saying that it looked more like a "D" instead of a "S", which they were correct. In the end I did not lose out too much, somewhere in between the two in value. Education is expensive, and I learned the hard way, slow down and get it described right!

If you list 4 or 5 items everyday, it's real easy to do.
