I stumbled across a seated liberty with arrows dime.

Depends on your view of cleaned coins. I personally can tolerate a coin with a little bit of cleaning, but the cleaning on that one seems pretty harsh, which doesn't appeal to me.

I sure wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for it.It looks to be G-4 and books for 16 dollars in Red Book so you could maybe sell it again for 10-12 dollars.There are better examples out there for that price.


I know I'll find one in this roll!

No way. Keep an eye out and I bet you can get a nice toned example in VF for around $20 or less.

Do a search on completed listings for 1853 dimes to see what $12.99 can buy. I think you can do much better.

very light cleaning I don't mind.....too much and I move on to the next item.

yea, imo this is too cleaned. When I started collecting (Im a YN) like 4 months ago, I bought two cleaned coins. =( I didn't like them after I got them. I learned from my mistakes...
