Eagle_Eye Valued Member United States 55 Posts	Posted 09/08/2021 4:59 pm I will be offline for a little bit. We experienced an EF2 tornado here in northwestern Michigan. My wife and I are fine. The house not so much. There is a tree in the roof. We lost all of our mature trees around our home. It was divine intervention that the house isn't destroyed. We lost 95% of the old growth oak, maple and towering white pines. I don't have insurance. Bad circumstances, not neglect. If you know anyone that can help with this storm cleanup in this part of the world, shout out. I only have a 16 inch saw, most of the trees uprooted are three feet minimum. Got a sawmill or firewood business..send them by. EE Report this Post to the Staff

A long ways to go and I still have to get the tree out of the roof, but I will manage it. Here is a video of right around our home. I plan on uploading a bunch just for future reference. Our tree loss is about 75% of the mature trees. I however won't ever buy firewood again. Tu5-S151EP0 Collects82 I'm sorry that happened. I don't ever want to experience a hurricane! I found out something again about life that I have known for a long time, rely only on yourself! I'd rather save myself anyways. My Church Pastor loaned me a ladder as mine is pinned under a large oak tree. I'm not the type of guy that can handle asking for help. I resent myself when I have to. Pride I guess. Its been slow hard work, but that's good for body and soul. Here are some more videos of damage around our property. I made them for my Mother as this used to be mom and Dad's cottage.
