Quote:
"My fascination of classical art and mythology inspired the challenge of merging antiquity with the concerns of our post-modern age -- the salvation of energy.
The recognized power of the sun represents the epitomy of energy and I used Helios, the Sun God, to depict the sun's power. On the obverse I have portrayed Helios encompassed by a single neutron and proton, shackled by the bonds of present man's capabilities of harnessing solar energy.
The reverse shows Helios freeing himself from bondage radiating his power from the sun. The horses are symbolic of mankind's search for the continuum of the purest form of energy. In the knowledge of Helios lies the force that mankind will enlighten tomorrow's future."
