Went through some 1973's a few nights ago when I saw this. Appears to be a die clash showing the portrait on the reverse. I don't think it is some type of Die Deterioration as it looks almost identical to the clashing of others listed on maddieclashes. None are listed for 1973 however though this appears like a TDC-10c-1968D-01 and a TDC-10c-1977-01. I apologize for the excess of pictures but had a hard time getting any good ones. The strongest lines of demarcation can be seen under the oak leaves around 3:00. Thank you for your help.

Looks like a light Clash mark. But something else looks like the fields looks altered/polished that is also seen. Hang onto this one for now. I'm not feeling real good today. SO I can delve into it as much today. (sorry)

Thanks for all the replies. @Coop hope you are feeling better. I'm kind of flummoxed on what to do with this coin. Though none are listed for 1973 I'm guessing they must be somewhat common because I looked into submitting the coin to maddie but they are only accepting Atypicals which I understand. I'm not very familiar with CONECA but looked at their website and became a member last night. Apparently I can send them a coin and they will have someone look at it? I understand it's not going to be some high dollar coin. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts. Has anyone found any Typicals from this year? Thanks.

REVISIT: It's been a few years since my original post but just found this Dime (that I thought I had lost) on my bench that appears to have a die clash. Does anyone know what my next step should be? I reached out to mad die a few years ago and didn't hear back. I just looked on their website and it appears they aren't taking submissions.
I haven't seen any attributions for a clash on this particular coin. Thank you for your help.
