You don't have to be an American to have a MACO (NY) medal. I have a 3 inch bronze medal :- (Google Images): 'CATERPILLAR 50 YEARS ON TRACKS 1904-1954'.
Curiously enough, I got it for free ! Found it in a pile of used car parts to be thrown out.

William T.G. Morton, dentist who pioneered the practical use of ether as a general anesthetic. Sculptor: Abram Belskie " R.O.R' " is the general organic chemistry structure of an ether. Per the flyer included with the medallion, Belskie's allegory invokes the lamentations of Job (Job 10: 18-20) to represent the pain and suffering which Morton's innovation alleviated. More about Morton can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_T._G._MortonGive me a work of art fashioned by human hands instead of a CAD laser engraving any day of the week.

Commems: Happened across a 1971 MACO effort which used the introduction of the Ike dollar to commemorate the seven prior dollars issued by the USM from 1794 - 1971. Here's the Numista Listing: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...a127858.htmlThat design could have inspired the 1992 medal issued by the USM to celebrate the Bicentennial of the US Mint. . .
