I am grateful to be an American and I thank you, those who defended our freedom and against those who would take that away. The worst war was the one between ourselves. It is of utmost importance that we remain united. I wonder what persons they were and what good they could have done, had they not died fighting. May that never happen again. God please continue to bless America. Despite a lot of ugliness, most are good people in our country.

This might fit in ... It is similar to a Great Britain crown. It was given by Great Britain to solders who fought in World War One. I have wondered if it may have circulated as a coin. The hole is where the ribbon was attached.
