Very nice additions! I have to say that the last image (the reverse of the '88) was done very well, nicely cropped taken from directly overhead, the lighting is perfect! Now do that for all your next images and your on your way to great pictures. The next step is to re-size them just a tiny bit more. (I re-size mint to 600 pixels)

Thanks for the tips, Dearborn. Your comment about lighting makes sense because time of day and amount of natural lighting does make a difference in my situation. There's only one window in my music room and it faces East so the lighting changes throughout the day.
I used to resize to 500 pixels wide but for some reason I went down to 400.

same here, I try to take my picture in the mid afternoons when I have max natural lighting. Take a look at the latest images I posted on mine - they are a bit darker than normal - the mail was late, and I took the images late in the day (top that off with my phone is dying and the camera is not working so good anymore). But I have a new phone on the way.

This afternoon I'm going to take some pictures in another room. It has a large window facing south and gets natural sunlight most of the day.
