But at my eye exam last summer, the eye doctor told me that my distance vision had improved to the point where I didn't need to wear glasses while driving anymore. What a nice surprise! 48 years of driving with glasses and now I didn't have to! It's been truly luxurious to go to my car now without worrying if I have my glasses. So, I am happy to not bring reading glasses with me, either. As I said, coin examinations can wait till I get home.

Here we are in the last week of August and I still have not found any 2025 coins. Usually down here (Phoenix area) they start filtering in by June or July at the latest.
Of course these days I don't have nearly as many coins being used at all, I could very easily go totally cashless if I chose but I still like to use cash for anything less than $20 when I can. My wife hasn't used cash for over a decade herself.

n9jig...I live in Los Angeles County and this has been a very slow year for new coins in circulation.
In 2024 I found 19 new coins and in 2023 I found 64 new coins. As I mentioned in my post I have only found 2 coins so far.

Of course I get a 2025 2 days after I posted that I hadn't had any. Today I got a 2025-D penny at McDonalds' drive-thru.

Bought a couple extra uncirculated sets to fill holes. The only 2025 coins I have seen so far.
