I've decided to put together a set of circulated Walking Liberty half dollars in a Dansco 7160 album. I've always admired the beautiful design, and I was looking for an attainable set in my budget. Similar to my 7070 thread, I plan to post pictures of my acquisitions as I go along. So far, I found a copy of Bruce Fox's The Complete Guide to Walking Liberty half Dollars, which although dated is a great reference.

I hope your set can be as satisfying as mine.

My first addition to the set is the key date 1921-D, graded NGC VG-10. Definitely one of my biggest purchases as a numismatist, but the key dates will never get cheaper, so when I saw this nice one in my price range I jumped on it. I won't crack it for the album unfortunately, but that's okay. I'm happy with it!

I collect them on and off. The last one was a 1942 proof. I wanted to have one Walker with all the details.

That's a very strong VG-10, with good eye appeal. Congratulations!

Thank you, everyone!

Next up is a 1919-S, which is the first coin in the album!
