I'd been meaning to do something like this for a while and noticed last week that I was approaching my 2000th post so here we are. I've also reached the point where I have to start getting comfortable with releasing part of my collection. Double win, at least for someone (or more likely "sometwo") out there.
The prize(s):
* Two 1944
Walker halves* Two 1962-D
Washington quarters* Two 1942
Mercury dimes* 400+ wheat cents that I pulled from circulation over the years

The contest: Here's a PCGS slab with the last four digits of the certification number obscured. Simply guess what these last four digits are, but to keep this totally fair, you need to
post your guess in reverse order. That is, if you think the last four digits are 1234, your guess should be 4321.

The winner(s): If you happen to guess exactly right, you win the whole prize. There's only a 1-in-10,000 chance of that happening, so:
* Whoever comes closest without going over wins one half, one quarter and one dime
* Whoever comes closest without going under wins the other three silver coins
* Whichever of these two is closer to the real answer also gets all of the wheat cents
* If the two winners are equally close to the real answer, I'll split the cents into equal piles for each winner
* If no one is too high or two low, the second closest on the winning side will be the second winner
One guess per member, and you must have at least 50 posts to enter. Shipping within the US only.
Contest closes at 6pm forum time on Thursday, October 2.
Good luck!
