1922 No D Lincoln Wheat Cent

The infamous "No D" Lincoln Cent was made from extremely worn dies that originally struck normal 1922 D cents. There were three different pairs of dies involved. Two of these pairs produced "weak D" cents which are worth significantly less than their "No D" counterparts. Die pair #2 is responsible for the "No D" cents and is identified by a strong reverse. Authentication is recommended for "No D" cents as there are many 1922 D cents that have had the mint mark removed.
