How do you feel about the removal of In God We Trust from our Money ?
There is to be a lawsuit filed by an athiest for that purpose !
Michael Newdow plans to ask a federal court to order removal of the national motto "In God We Trust" from U.S. coins and currency. He said it violates the religious rights of atheists who belong to his "First Amendment Church of True Science."
The church's "three suggestions" are "question, be honest and do what's right." Newdow said it wouldn't be right to take up a collection when the money says "In God We Trust."
Last year, the Supreme Court dismissed Newdow's lawsuit over the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance because he doesn't have custody of his daughter, in whose name the lawsuit was filed.
Newdow has resurrected that case by filing an identical lawsuit on behalf of two families.

Have any of you noticed the steady decline in morality as God and religion have been pulled out of the schools? The entire situation disgusts me. By all means, let's remove God from our money, too. America is becoming morally bereft and I see no end in sight as long as lawsuits like this one continue.

His Lawsuit in my opinion is just a waste of time and a way for the "spotlight" however my dim it is, to shine on this dork. I basically ignore him. This country was founded on religous beliefs. Like someone said today (can't remember) "Lawsuits like this are about as useful and sucessful as using a wet vac on the Titanic".

Although I think this guy is a bit of a crack pot,, I also see our system bending to such people !
This type of thing could not have advanced or gained momentum without the help of our judiciary failing horribly to protect the contitution which they swore to do .
Im tired of the hypocrites who denounce America and continue to live here ! Who denounce our History ,Heritage, and now our money but continue to use the capitalistic system to further there agenda !
Why dont these guys quit using the money that offends them so much? why dont they stop accepting the money that offends them so much ? At least at that point I could allow them some credibility in their actions.
But as irritated as Iam at this BS,, Im even more irritated that the opposing view point will not stand and stop the decline of this country !

The case will pribably be heard here, so there is still hope:
California's 9th Circuit Court has a 95-percent reversal rate far exceeded the national average of 71 percent and "earned the Western circuit [the 9th Circuit] its reputation as the nation's 'most reversed,' " according to a July 3, 2004, Sacramento Bee article.
It has been called the "nutty ninth".
