How a Dealer Makes Me a Customer for Life?
1. Accurately represents their coins online with obverse and reverse pictures and a description of any problems - like cleaned or dings etc.
2. Granted I have spent a fair amount of money with this dealer, but they know me by name when I call.
3. Will give me a discount off their list prices on large orders and/or free shipping.
4. Fairly priced and extensive online inventory for the Type collector.
5. No questions asked return policy in those rare occasions when I didn't like the toning of the coin in hand.
6. A nice gift certificate which I just received from them and promptly redeemed for 1928 Standing Liberty quarter in AU-58 with a full head and lots of luster left.

Who is this dealer? Harlan J. Berk, Ltd in Chicago.

I am going to be listing several nice Type Coins from upgrades to my 7070 on the forum - from VF-20 to XF-40 sometime this month when I can find time to photograph them.

Can you link them? I'm always looking for recommended dealers. Also, if you don't mind can I drop your name? I want to get that friend-of-a-friend VIP treatment. :)

Army, I can't get the link to copy, but just google Harlan J Berk to get the website and you can view their inventory of US coins. The phone number is: 312-609-0016. Ask for David and just tell him you are a friend of Colin's in Oklahoma and mention that I posted about their dealership. I can't guarantee that will do you any good, but once you establish yourself as a customer I would bet they will treat you the same. Good luck!

Try HarlanJBerk.com

I like these guys. A nice inventory, reasonable prices, fast shipping and very nice customer service.

I also got my gift certificate for Christmas and am looking at an 1824 over 1 Capped Bust Half, for FREE!

I like it!
