I have a set of one ounce Kookaburras.
They are kept in the Plastic airtite containers.
Up until now I have kept them in a jewelry display case (a black cardboard box with 2x2 seperations the box also snaps shut).

But whent I transport them (demonstrations for youth groups etc)
They slide all around the case.
I am considering putting the capsules into plastic 2x2 pages unless you mob can come up with some other ideas that can help me out.

Any ideas?

When in doubt I always start with a manufacturers web site: http://www.air-tites.com/ATstorageboxes.htm

Everyone knows that I use 2x2's religiously, however, I would strongly recommend (this time) that you keep them in the original air-tites. The only time I remove a coin is if it arrives in a plastic bag. I then remove it to the 2x2 to keep it from getting "bag marks" and so forth. I carefully remove them, touching only the edge while wearing cotton (coin collectors) gloves.

Have checked out their site but was unhappy with options.
I want to view my coins not stick them on a card and then in a box.

I am looking for a way to store and display a set

but I am grateful for your suggestion

Maybe I need to remove them from their capsules and put them in 2x2s

or maybe not

Hi RG....Lindner produces display trays and storage boxes that I think will be suitable for what you are looking for. I have their catalogue somewhere here but can't find it.

Just did a quick search on eBay and there are a few sellers selling Lindner stuff, here is a typical one with a photo of the product.

Check it Out

I have been using a tray similar to the one shown on the right in the image you provided

Maybe I will try one with the cutouts and then I will have less trouble with the coins moving about when I go to the scout/ youth meetings

In my shop I use lighthouse draws. They easily stack and can be stored in a coin box. They have a clear lid so you do not even have to open them to look at the coins.

You could always frame them, but then again you couldn't see the Reverse. There has to be something out there. I was only thinking about storage for you and not display - hmmmmmmmmm Ideas anyone?

(Ofcourse, it's the Reverse of the Kook that's the most meaningful to the coin).
