Hello all, First,i wish to appologise if this post is in the wrong forum, I couldnt find anywhere else to post it?
I have 70 posts, when I go to my control panel it dosent show that many, I can only think tht some of my posts have been archived? Is there anyway I can access these posts? I will shortly being to sort out two coin collections that we have, and I was given fantastic help from the people on this forum in identifying the coins. When I go to sorting them out I will have the information from the posts? if that makes sense?
I really doubt with just 71 posts you would have been here long enough to have a thread archived. When you go to your profile see if there is a link that you can click that says "show all non-archived posts by (username)" that will show you all threads you have posted in..
But on some of the busier subforums there are threads dated August 2010 in the archive, and you've been a member since before that. Some of smithersjones' threads have indeed been archived.
Here's the trick I just tried to find them: click on the forum's "search" button, then down in the Standard Forum Search area, type in the word "coin" for the search word, click the "Archived Posts" checkbox and type your username at the bottom, then hit the Search button. I found two pages of them.
That should find most of them, since somebody's bound to say the word "coin" in the thread somewhere. It won't allow you to search for super-common words like "the" or "a". If you're still missing threads, try to think of specific keywords that might have been used, either in your questions or in answers given to you, and search the archive for those instead.
