So...I'm contemplating selling some of my better Morgans on this site. I don't want to sell on ebay because I don't want to deal with the fees and hassle, and Craigslist is out of the question for these items since there are too many and CL has a lot of flakes.

My question is this; What is the best way to receive payment? If I get paypal gift, will paypal try to come after me if they see too many gifts or will they leave it alone?

Any opinions will be appreciated.

I have done money orders and checks to and from sellers and have had zero problems on here. As long as they have a decent post number and have good communication I think checks or money orders would be a great way to go. I think paypal gift option does get scrutinized if it is usedtoo often. You could just do the regular (non-gift) paypal and factor the fees into your price if that is what concerns you.

if you do get nixed for using pay-pal gift, CCF will not back you up if you want to try to get you account back, its been discussed a couple times before.

i suggest just using correct pay-pal methods, if I cant pay people correctly with pay-pal, I wont pay at all.
Rest in Peace

Mix it up. Some 'gift' PP, some 'paid' PP, and USPS money orders. Checks if you trust 'em.

As long as it works and you feel secure with it.

if you want your money fast its best to use paypal and pay the 3% fee's (I think that is what it is). If you use their service I see no reason to not want to pay for that service. If you can wait for payment then by all means use money order or check and there will be no fee's, the only draw back is the waiting for payment. That is why paypal is so popular in this time and age, everyone wants payment right then and there, but my stand has always been that they deserve their fee if you are going to use the service. There are people that do use the gift option but if I were a buyer I would never send it to a person on the internet for goods myself just because there is no protection when doing so. So a seller can say they want paypal gift but they would never get it from me that way. I know a few people that has been on coin forums for years and very well known and liked by many. no one would have ever thought they would get scammed by these people, but it happened
