Please grade this nickel, also it is a smokey grey colour, any ideas as to what would do this. Thanks.

AU-50, but somewhat weakly struck, as the leaves are not 'crisp' on the reverse. Of course, take any internet grading with a grain of salt...

I was leaning towards MS-60, but I do not have much experience with non copper coins. I suspect the dark color is simply toning due to exposure to environment and light.

Nice coin!

My vote gets AU-55. I can see slight ware on 3 main high points so it will not meet the MS-60 requirment of no ware.
Not a bad looking coin.

I see a coin that looks uncirculated. The nickel series is hard to grade because of the density of the nickel. It just doesn't strike well. I have seen many a nickel graded that looks worse than this one and they are graded uncs.
