Trying to get better at grading canadian cents, what would this 1920 small cent be? AU or low ms?

Any ideas would be greaty appreciated,

looks like VF maybe VF-30 to me... sorry to disappoint

If you took a hawthorn or a cactus spine to remove some of that gunk around the crown, you would probably have a solid EF. The vertical band of jewels and shoulder ribbon looks intact, and the reverse leaves only have minor erosion on the tips.

EF a good candidate for "conservation"

My initial thought was VF-30, but agree the appeal with conservation would likely help that be a nice EF.
