Canadian_coins will for sure post pics to put mine to shame, but here they are anyways. The red pocket on the silver 1/2oz is a really nice touch I think. The COAs are serialized too, even for such a large mintage

and the gold

Nice! Mine are on their way.
But gold is out of reach for my budget.

plan to hand a few out during chinese new years. My wife and I just had our firstborn join the family this past october, so we are now obligated to dish out red pockets as oppose to receive. Hope the young ones appreciates a silver coin instead of a paper bill!

Oh yeah? where do you live? I will come and say Kung Hei Fat Choy. BTW, that small coin is good enough for me, you can save the big one for someone else...

The coin looks far better in our hands. I am unable to capture the natural reflections on the relief. The Queen is quasi flawless i.e. no pits, bag marks, scratches or anything like we find on RCM UNC coins. Well done - just WAY too many of them minted.

not cheaper if by the box eh~ figures.
I still think it's a labeling issue. If these were peddled as silver maple leafs much the same way the cougars, grizzlies, and wolfs are, they'd be going much faster than they are now even at the premium.

I finally got my first low number mintage coin. I got 00287/48888. I am not even a Master's Club member. Usually I get a number right smack in the middle. Nice coin. Looking forward to the next 11.

I like the "created with old-world craftsmanship and skill" line on so many levels.
1. Does that mean the rest of the NCLT's created by the RCM were created using unskilled labour and by a bunch of rookies? (Some recent NCLT's seem that way - truth in advertising!)
2. I take it the RCM is targeting the asian market with these coins. Even if the RCM is using British "old-world" techniques the Chinese culture is way-way-way older. Old just seems a bad choice of words. Our old Canadian techniques... lol... the Chinese must be laughing... even I am.
Of course I am joking above. The coin seems nice, though not my style.

@ kenney, If they did make one, I never seen it on the mint's page or any other dealer's page so I would have to say no. The mint made two different silver rabbits and two different silver tigers as well as two different silver dragons that belong to the same set. http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/silve...1-prod690001http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/silve...1-prod990009
