Have found these in circulation. (TC for Theissen-Crow, BT for Bonin-Theissen, J for Jenkins-?)

Radar notes;
$5-1986 TC
$5-1986 BT (UNC)
$10-1989 TC
$10-1989 BT
$20-1991 TC
$20-1991 BT (UNC)
$20-2004 J
Strange thing is I've only found 1 of each and they are all different.

Replacement notes;
$1- 1954 Bouey-Rasminsky asterisk
$2- 1986 TC BRX
$5- 1986 TC 4 pcs.all FNX
$10-1989 BT ATX
$20-1991 TC EIX
$20-1991 BT AIX
All probably grade F or VF except for the (UNC) straight from the bank.
All these have been found in circulation. I'm a coin, not bill collector, so have never bought any bills. I always check all coins and bills before spending, including most of wife's bills also. Even got her checking for radars when I'm not around.

It's a good practice to check all your families money/coins and your buddies at work too if they will let you.

Now that I have my Charlton's Banknote guide, my $10 radar repeater's serial, 5051505, is actually mentioned in the guide....

Got this for face value today, from what I have read on here I think it is a two digit repeater.

Going to try and revive this old thread, just because I love it so much.

I should have a couple more notes to post here within the next week or so.

Canadian-Banknotes ...

=> that's a very tempting offer, but I think that I'm gonna hold onto them for a wee bit longer!!

Man, flipping through this ol' thread makes me want to buy a couple more banknotes ...

Hmmmm, we'll have to wait and see where my collecting-tastes take me during "the next 12 months!!?"

Opps posted a few notes but wrong country :P

Some nice notes in this thread, but personally I am not so interested by serial numbers more by nice designs in good condition and history.
