Someone cut out part of the nickel and inserted a cent in it.

Too bad they ruined both coins. So does the cent come out of the nickel easily or is it the other way around?

Where did you find it?

If you could find a magic supply house or shop in your area you would find a large assortment of those. There are Cents hollowed out for a dime, Quarters hollowed out for Nickels, etc. I have the Half Dollar one hollowed out for a Mexican coin. Usually they are sold with a plastic ring thing so you can place the larger coin in it and tap it to realease the smaller coins. They are expensive to purchase so it always surprices me to see them in change. Same with the multitude of 2 headed or 2 tailed coins. For example my Half Dollar hollowed out one with the Mexican coin and release ring costs $25. My 2 Headed Ike Dollar also cost $25.
