I finally got one of these in circulation. Now what is the correct name for these type of bills? Do they have any kind of value?

The correct term for this is a radar note. Nice find!

This might hold a tiny bit of a premium, but I wouldn't know

Nice find.

Those are cool to find -- and if I ever find one, I will keep it for sure. But as far as selling them....seems that they have to be in nearly perfect condition and quite old to be worth much judging by what I see on the sites that sell them.

I don't know anybody who is buying them.

But I think paper money is fading from use so who knows?

I wouldn't have circled the serial number in permanent marker, though. I think that might affect value a little.

I am not sure if you are kidding or not, so I will apologize in advance if you were being sarcastic.

I think he just drew those circles around the serial number using a program like Paint, or GIMP so that people would know what to look at in the picture.

The technical term, outside bill collecting, is palindrome.

Like mom, dad, Hannah, Bob, racecar. Also sentences: Madam I'm Adam. A man, a plan, a canal, Panama.

Nice find. Too bad the condition wasn't better. It might have a small amount of premium to it, but not much, due to the grade of it. Just too many wrinkles in it, but I would keep it.
