Would like to know the grade and value of these two notes. I picked these up at a local auction.

Fine (F)

A well circulated note with rounded corners, wrinkles, multiple folds and a rough edge or two. Colors will be good and the paper will be reasonably clean.

Very Good (VG)

This note will show signs of significant wear, with heavy folds, the paper will have lost its crispness and will be limp. The note may be lightly stained or soiled, the edges will be rough, and there may be a tear in the paper. Colors will be somewhat faded.

Good (G)

A heavily circulated note. This note will be heavily wrinkled and creased, usually soiled, the colors are dull, the paper limp, and there may be multiple tears or pinholes, or small pieces missing. Generally a "space filler.

So no one has an opinion on the grade of either of these? I have $250.00 in the pair and have decided to resale them. I'm trying to figure out what I should ask and the least I should take.

G-VG at best. But keep in mind I am not very good at grading.

I would guess along the lines of what John1 said. Around a G for the chief and around a VG for the gold certificate.
