There are quite a few 1884-O with filled or partially filled mint mark.
VAM-39 is one of the most common ones with filled mint mark.

However, yours is not VAM-39.

your pictures re fine for an overall look at the coin, but for a VAM, one must see "clearly" at the details of the coin....
for example:.....while your looking at the mint mark.....
there appears to be an over looked possibility of a clash
mark at the neck....While there are, "advanced diagnostics"
reading the tea leaves........the basic trend is to look at the date, location, then the mint mark for the rudimentary classifications, or "simply" START from the basics, before you jump to the conclusions...your photo's are not clear enough
as a whole photo to ascertain the VAM, how ever, you do have the abillity to zoom into the coin to bring out details, in this case you details are not concurrent with the VAM......So let me not condemn you please.... but rather entice you to be very exact in what you wish to be seen so we can help lead you into understanding of what VAM you may have....Sorry I have been off line for many months... Please...think my comments are positive......and directional, in my brief post, NOT....bashing anyones questions...but rather relating to a simple positive process
which leads to understanding...G
