VAM 6 or 6A, or a probable VAM 38 can't definitely tell from these photos. I'd grade it as XF, as far as a value keeping in mind I'm a tightwad I'd give about $35.

Better photo's = better ID's

My guess based on what I can see would be VAM-35. Mint mark is set left and right wing is over polished. Unfortunately, there are not many full coin plate photos for this year/mm.
Now, what appears to be the letter F in your first photo is not the result of a die clash event as this font is not found on the obverse die. The normal clash transfer in this area would be the bridge of the nose. What you see could be PMD or... You could join VAMworld if you are not already a member and ask the experts over there.

Hope this helps.

Fun one.

1881-O is little-researched; the legwork for differentiating die classifications from die pairings is not done. Therefore, it can be expected that certain VAMs will show features not noted for it, being of a differing die pair which is still lumped in under the original "classification."

So, we'll never know what this one is.

I will say that I lean towards calling it the VAM-6 reverse. I see a tilt there which doesn't (as far as we know) exist with VAM-35. I fear it may be too worn for any identification of minute doubling in the date.
