More Colored Coins in NGC Holders?

Considering PCGS coins go for a higher price PCGS.

Aside from that personally I like the look of the clear PCGS holder over the white NGC one better anyway

I have heard that consensus, but what is that based on? Do people buy a $1000 coin crack it out and resubmit to PCGS Then get what kinda percentage more?
What happened to buy the coin not the holder?

If thats the case how is NGC and ANACS still in business? If they are worth more in PCGS slabs.

Ive noticed a lot of toned coins in NGC holders. I believe they tend to grade higher vs PCGS when it comes to toned coins. I've also noticed a lot of toned coins in NGC holders with the * designation. I believe what people were wanting clarification on is if you were talking toned or colored as in enameled or painted coins. As to your question as to how are NGC and ANACS still in business. I believe ANACS pulls the market share of people who want their coins graded and don't want to have to pay a membership fee. They are also top notch when it comes to varieties. NGC is just about up there with PCGS. Most of the time PCGS coins will command a higher premium but not always. Also with PCGS and NGC offering registry sets on their websites, which have become very popular lately, they have added a ton of competitive collectors to their ranks.
