I'm interested, too. I live in Albany, NY, and unless I'm missing something, I can't seem to find any near me.

Quote: I'm interested, too. I live in Albany, NY, and unless I'm missing something, I can't seem to find any near me. I've mentioned this several times in the past. Those so called coin show caladars are OK for some, possibly most coin shows but if you just go by the ones mentioned here, you would miss many of them. For example if I went by that listing, I would miss 1/3 of all coin shows in my area. One of the bigger ones is almost always left out. I suggest trying http://www.coinshows.com/ as already noted. Then go to Google and/or Yahoo and type in coin shows and your state. Another method is to find a coin shop and ask them if there are any coin shows they know of in the area. Many small coin shows are attended by local coin shops. Some on line dealers too advertise coin shows that they will be attending. Example is in the Miller's Mint catalog, they list the shows they will be attending on the last page. Coppercoins used to have a forum and that too had a separate sub forum for listing coin shows. And remember to not limit yourself to coin shows listed on those so called coin show calandars. Many coin clubs too have small coin shows that are never mentioned in those. Therefore also look up coin clubs in your area. Another thing to do is check out your local flea markets. Many have some coin dealers there too. One of our flea markets usually has several coin dealers. It is not easy to find ALL of them for some reason. One more thing is to ask people if they attend gun, knife, camera shows and if there are any coin dealers there. At one of out gun shows there is always dealers selling coins, jerlery, knives, etc.

I use the Michigan State Numismatic Society web site local show listings. Their list has Club as well as Commercial shows listed. Does your state numismatic association have a web site with similar listings?

Try to google say "your state" coin shows. Another way to find local coin shows would be to google "your state" coin clubs.
If you're know you're going to be going on a trip try googling that state for coin shows and clubs. You never know what you'll turn up.

One of the dealers, who often sets up at the Westford, MA show had mentioned that he also sets up at a show in Albany.

I find that doing an internet search can usually yield some current results about coin shows in the area. On the coinshows website, they only list a show in my area with no date next to it, just spring. A little research and I found out the show is on Sunday.
