It was accidentally consumed by a wild animal, partially digested, released back into the wild, washed clean in a thunder storm, and struck by lightning.

I'm no expert, so I'm just guessing.

It wasn't that long ago when I thought that 'mint error' meant that something was wrong with my candy.

Lol me too I thought someone put it under there shoe and scraped it across the ground im glad I only paid a penny for it

Yeah, it rolled stuck to a tire from the bank down the highway from somewhere in Ohio all the way to Florida and back.

Twice.

But I think....I think I see a hint of an 09 and an S mintmark!
