1900 25 cent banknote

I obtained this piece for about $2 at a local coin shop, thought it was rather interesting so I figured for that price I had nothing to lose. I was just wondering if I got what I paid for, or perhaps something more. The note is heavily circulated, it's definitely seen some use over the years.. I'm assuming the grade wont be the best, but then again paper money is where I lack in knowledge.
