So today I went to the bank and got 4 boxes of pennies. Brought them home and they were all taped up. Opened two and finished both of them so decided to open another and this one felt way lighter than the other so opened it and I was missing almost 10 rolls. At the other banks they always checked and this one they didn't. What do I do?

You could explain to them what happened and hope for the best..they might just make it right!

Is there holes on the box so you can always see the rolls? I always check that because I've been short $10 while searching rolls of a brand new box

This happen to me with a box of nickels. I opened it & the rolls were all different heights. I contacted the back & brought them back immediately without a hassle.

Once you walk out the door I don't think there is much that they will do.

At my Sun local bank, any rolls exchange there has to be marked with original owner account number, credit is given to the person who says they are short of any amount...

If a box given to me is taped up, I usually will refuse it, if it is a bank I have a good relationship with. That is how many roll searchers return boxes they have been through. After having opened up a decent number of taped boxes and found rolls obviously searched, I try my best to avoid them.

Always verify the rolls at the counter. Once you walk out that door, you own them.

They should remember you and give you the $5 without problem. This happened to me too, with a box being 12 rolls of pennies short. I went back the next day, just to politely mention the box was short and not to make a big deal, but the teller immediately apologized and refunded my money.

I have had very few issues with banks making good for missing rolls. I make it a point to check boxes at the bank if it was already opened. If the boxes were sealed and I find they are short when I search them at my home. I tell the manager. I think it helps if you have a long standing relationship with the bank.
Worst case you check the opened boxes at the bank from here on out, best case you get the missing money paid to your account.
