We always see plenty of coins so I thought i'd start this thread for the note collectors to show their favourite or special pieces.
I'll take some pics later & post them up,so if anyone wants to put some up in the meantime go for it,pre decimal, decimal paper or polymer whatever your into, would love to see what others interests are in the note side of things.

Here is a few rare ones, the main reason I purchased this first note is it has my birth date month & year in the serial number. Very rare run of 4 consecutive Coombs/Randall,unfortunately a little bit of foxing on the top corners.

I'll get some of mine up when I get a chance amongst my wholesales invoicing & Little Vincent.
I admit, I am powerless over $50 notes - to the point that my life has become unmanageable because of this addiction. I am a NOTE-A-HOLIC

You've done well to get repeaters in such great condition. I do a few pre-decimals, a few papers, but a lot of polymers. They're both your notes? The Sheehan/McFarlane is a last prefix (according to McDonalds). Here's some possible stats for the last two: Sheehan/McFarlane - 1939 - Ten Shilling: Printed from D98 through to F24 (I'd assume that; D series = 2, E series = 100 & F series = 25. In that assumtion 999,999 of each prefix would mean 127 x 999,999 which would mean 126,999,873. Same likelihood, just more likely to be still around & in a decent grade) Armitage/McFarlane - 1942 - Ten Shilling: Printed from F24 through to G84 (I'd assume that; F series = 75 & G series = 85. In that assumtion 999,999 of each prefix would mean 160 x 999,999 which would mean 159,999,840. As before, same likelihood, just more likely to be still around & in a decent grade) I guess my major question about the top two lots of signatories is did they do an entire print of the F24 prefix for both Sheehan/McFarlane & Armitage/McFarlane? I really would like to know more about pre decimal notes...I'm a big fan, I just have the opportunity to filter through polymer, so it's given me the passion to do so. I do have quite a few pre-decimal notes, but...polymers...If I could sew, I could easily sew a quilt out of them.

Very Nice spg1,thats one thing I have'nt got is star notes,if I could start all over again star notes would be high on the list of must purchase ,good to see someone else joining in. Quote: They're both your notes? Yes Goatie all the notes I show here are 100% owned by me,the Sheenan/McFarlane is a beauty & was a bargain buy from UK or US eBay which was a really good source for good cheap Aussie pre decimal notes years ago, soldier souvenir pieces from war time probably.
