I had all these blue boxes laying around and wanted some ASE PF70's.
I had bought 10 ASE Proofs upon release for the last 2 years. I had given some away as gifts.
I still had 5 2011-W PF and 9 2012-W PF to send to NGC for Grading. Out of a total of 14 coins the results are 10-PF70 and 4- PF69.
4 out of 5 2011-W PF70
6 out of 9 2012-W PF70

It must be beginners luck as I was expecting 3 out of 14 to be 70's. I just started laughing and then wondered about the ones that got away. I immediately got on the net and did my Christmas shopping early(silver and gold Pandas and Libertads). Nobody is getting my Silver Eagles anymore.

I only ordered 8 sets upon release of the ASE 2-coin S Proofs. Better order some more. This is more fun than gambling!

At least you wont stand the chance of losing it all unlike gambling.

10 Pf-70, you came out great.

You are so right mkman. I need to complete what I started as a kid in the 50's. I still need 3 or 4 Lincolns.
I did complete the Jeffersons and Ikes.

Talking history, the ASE has it's roots right here. The Walking Liberty(most beautiful coin ever)Album is missing 5.
Heck, it's all good. Susan B. even starts to look good after awhile.
Also Large Notes, gold and silver certificates from 1920's to 1899 are artwork never to be seen again.
