I agree....some people simply get fixated on purchaing a certian coin even when there are buy-it-now items cheaper

Saw an item sell for double the amount that it was worth yesterday. No idea why people are so nuts lol

Some people pay way too much because they don't want someone else to beat them out of the item. That's the plus side to selling at auction, people get caught up in the action and pay more than the item is worth.
Check out my coins and bullion at http://usn6771.ecrater.com/index.php low prices, free shipping for CCF members.

This is one of the worst/best (?) examples of BIDIOTS I've seen for a while: $2 note - cat val $220 (at best) judge for yourself.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/19069671798....m1426.l2649

44 bids, 6 bidders. It looks like a bidding war between 3 people. The seller is an ANDA dealer so if they have another of these notes lying around they should off a second chance offer to the losing bidder. I've noticed that first and last prefix notes seem to have picked up a lot of interest over the past few months but this is crazytown

For the 2 dollar note there is 3 missing letters in the prefix. They are U, C and E. That describes the brains of the bidders at that crazy price. (yes, I know that this is a family friendly site but if the kiddies are big enough to work out the prefix then they probably know the word).
