I have had my 1935 Mercury Dime graded and it came back as a fine coin.
With its grade what should I value it at.

http://coins.about.com/od/coinvalue...e_values.htm says $1.00.

http://values.hobbizine.com/mercury-dimes.html says $3.80.

http://cointrackers.com/Mercury-Head-Dime.php says $5ish (no grade used).

And based on ungraded coins on e-bay, I see $3-$5ish for some coins that look like they could be VF.

But I'm no expert. Call a few coin shops, tell them what you've got, and they'll give you an idea of what they'd pay for it I'm sure.

If its F-VF, it would be around melt value. 1935 is common.

Is it a 1935 without a Mint Mark? Graded by who? You mentioned it came back as a fine coin. Never heard of a TPGS saying just a fine coin. Didn't it have something like F-12 or something like that? I'm a little confused as to why you would have had a 1935 Dime sent in for grading. Did someone tell you to do that?

It was graded by the company I bought it from Littleton coin co.

I would never recomend buying from Littleton or other companies like it. Most coins are over prices and over graded. Fin a good local dealer and get to know him.

That is not considered "graded". Littleton is a coin dealer, not a Third Party Grader ( TPG). You want a coin graded you send it to ANACS or ICG, or if you dont mind getting over charged, PCGS or NGC. Those are the four TPGs that will grade a coin and the grade be relatively acceptable.

BUT, you need to do a little research forst to find out if the coin is worth sending in to anyone at all. A common date Merc circulated that much is NOT a coin to be sent in.
It is could've, would've or should've, not could of, would of or should of.
