Canadian-Banknotes Pillar of the Community Canada 4944 Posts	Posted 10/20/2012 6:26 pm The opening of the ear is more circular on Obverse 1, while Obverse 2 is a bit more "abstract" These pictures are from the Charlton Catalogue. glenzy1 Pillar of the Community Canada 1554 Posts	Posted 10/20/2012 8:04 pm F.Y.I.: The Obverse #1 for the 1881H dime is quite difficult to acquire. It took me 10 years to finally upgrade to an I.C.C.S., F-15 example. I.C.C.S., 2012 Population report has NO mintstate examples listed and only a mere 25 examples in circulated grades with the highest being one AU-50. So drop whatever you're doing and grab one if you can find 'em! Glenn Report this Post to the Staff
