cladhunter13 Pillar of the Community Canada 1161 Posts	Posted 04/19/2013 4:44 pm Hello. I was wondering what members would consider the grades of these 3 coins would be? I'm new to trying to figure out the grades of coins and opinions on grades of these 3 coins would be a good start as reference coins. 1946S LWC. Found Roll Hunting. 1909P VDB. A friend sent this to me with a small lot of wheat cents. It does appear to be cleaned. To bad. 1926S Was included in the lot with the 1909P VDB Thank you for any opinions. acloco Pillar of the Community United States 3540 Posts	Posted 04/19/2013 5:34 pm 46 S = net an AU53 because of the scratches - otherwise would be a 63RB 09 VDB - XF - almost AU, but the reverse ding hurts it. 26 S - G - these are known for a weak strike. Report this Post to the Staff

How much does cleaning of a coin such as this affect the grade? Or am I wrong and the coin does not appear to be cleaned? I do not clean coins...it was the way I received it.
