Interesting Find From Circulation

Wow, I never seen silver quarters or dimes in change. I did search an half box once this year and found maybe 15 silver and proofs.

My cool find today that came out my fathers pocket when we at store. I was going buy an 12 pack of coke since we wanted it. I was going to spend an 1974 5 dollar bill star note to buy an 12 pack coke. I was not looking and was going spend it. The lady at store was slow and when I pulled out get money . I saw 1974 and the star and almost spent without even knowing what I had. My father got in change someplace. I was short and used 3 susan dollars in my pocket to keep the star note. Lady freeked out since she thought susan dollars were quarters.

Nice find to add to my 1963 red seal 5 dollar star note. This 1974 has numbers h03428030 * It from st lois missori . It wore out but not torn. I amazed its 1974 note. Most bills last two to five years and its shreaded at federal reserve.

My quastion is how much is this 5 dollar note worth to note collectors?

Hate to break it to you but '58 was not a silver year for nickels. They were only made with silver during the war (1942-1945). Still it's nice to find those older years in circulation.

I found another 1944 P the day before but it's not very pretty.

My fiancee and I save our change in a cup together and after looking through the nickels, dimes, and quarters I've found a 1961-D Nickel that's a keeper, a 1946 Wash Quarter and a 1999 Republic of Somalia 5 Shillings! The obverse features an elephant and says XXI Century 1999 Food Security FAO. The reverse has what appears to be two cougar like cats standing next to a shield and says Republic of Somalia 5 Shillings ... very cool!

Hopefully the piles of cents reveals something fun too!

UPDATE: From all the cents I pulled four wheaties ('34, two '53-D, '54-D), two Canadian cents ('65 and '78) and two very nice later 60's that were great upgrades! Not bad for just a couple bucks!

What makes this amazing is that I recently received the very same coin as a gift. The gift coin however was BU.

Just got a 1980 P Kennedy half

I was given a Iranian quarter looking coin worth 250 rial, turns out I got robbed because its only worth .025 cents instead of the .25 I should have gotten :)

Oh well, its a neat coin.
