Ok WheatGuy ... last one I'll post for a while ... another 1922 Peace dollar with toning ... two shots, with flash and ambient lighting ...

I rarely see Peace dollars with natural toning, let alone those rainbows you have on yours! Nice half Moe, still a great coin even with the dipping. Those are all some nice coins, my foolish commentary can't do justice to them. Don't really have any more toners so here's a nice crusty SLQ:

Wheatguy ... I'm not giving up on toners, I just need to dig through my coin boxes to find them ... I don't put toned coins in Danscos, but flip them and store them in boxes ... and I haven't done a very good job of putting "toned" in the remarks section of my inventory sheets ... ... now if you want to start a "crusty coin post", I have plenty of those ... but I'd add that 1920 SLQ to my collection right now!

Well, me and other toned coin lovers will be waiting for the day you find them. Here is another one of my SLQ's. Yes, I posted it previously, but these are much better pics.

I was looking through some pictures and saw this 1920D Standing Liberty Quarter and I thought of this thread. So here you go. Enjoy!

Moe -- That's an awesome looking SLQ ... and the pic makes it look very 3D. I've only got a handful of SLQs and they are of low quality ... I need to start collecting that issue, but overwhelmed with others I've gotten into and yet to complete ... or those I've completed, but really need to upgrade. Every time someone posts one of these, it makes me hungry to start on them ... especially when you see one like this!

Wow, great semi-key Moe. I still need the 20-D for my set.
Tcmac, this is a really great series that becomes really addicting. I'm sure you'd love the series if you started it.

I had collected a few Walking Liberty Halfs prior to concentrating on the SL Quarters and I was VERY surprised how many more people seemed to be trying to acquire the SL Quarters versus the WL Halfs. It is a very popular series (and therefore not so cheap, but oh well. What else you gonna do with your money?)

I agree, the design is really appealing, and looks nice on any grade SLQ, contrary to what I know many people think. Any other toners out there? I've run out but maybe I'll post some SLQ's that have a tiny hint of color.
