So I had taken some time off from CRHing in general (over a year). Moved to Minnesota in jan 2012, and only just started up the hunt last month. Started with cents and nickels. Last Friday, on a whim, I decided to try dimes again. And boy did it pay off. The mother load of coin roll hunting. 19 Mercs, 11 Rosies! 30 silvers total. In the past, I probably could have gone a year without pulling 30. So of course I went back to that branch first thing the next morning and got another box. Not surprisingly, it was nothing like the first one, but I did manage to pull two more Rosies out of that one. I guess I made up for lost time! $1,600 in cwr dimes Monday gave up 4 silver rosies, including a '46.
The averages sure aren't what they were two years ago.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
