Looking at a strap of ones and found a web note .

My third one found in circulation .

Edit

I looked at the picture and realised that you can't really make it out, but you can make out it is a web.

Nice find. From 1995 to 2001 I found hundreds of them and now I have not found any in a few years . Try this link http://www.mycurrencycollection.com...erence/webs/

Also I typed up something about them for a contest on this forum. It can be found here http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...&whichpage=2 Two of the three webs I have found have been 88As. The two 88As came from straps of ones from the bank and the 95 a customer handed to me at work.

All I come across is stars, bookends, and a binary yesterday. I've got terrible odds of finding a web though. Mostly all of the notes are 2003 or 2006. Webs only occurred in the 90's and earlier right?

Dumb question but do all web notes have the W on the Top Right before the Serial number?

Richard, I am not aware of a W in front of the serial number. The 2 links below talk about how to identify a web note. Hope this helps.

One of the best explanations I've seen is during Wheezydog's contest from Suiol:
