This is for all the bar on column fans. I hit a dry spell about two months ago and I am finding very little, found this yesterday and wanted to share.

It's always nice to break a bad streak with at least something. Maybe your luck wll turn around now. Keep searching!

Maybe you can help me John, I found a 2004P that has a similar bar/column to yours, with possibly doubling on the last column (I can't really tell). Anyway, I can't find anything on coppercoins to match it. I know that year is riddled with DDR's, but if it is a different variety, would you send it in to be attributed?

i like the find. I have seen the opinions that these are relitavely unimportant - as far as die varieties go, but I still find them interesting, and I think they are a bit under rated. yours is a nice find. thanks for sharing.

Scuby Due, I don't think I would send it in because it would cost you more then the coin would be worth. But if you can afford to and want credit for the discovery then by all means send it in.

I agree, they may not be worth a lot but are still neat to find and they are worth more then face value.

real nice doubling. according to copper coins they are worth from .75cents to around 7 to 10 dollars. I don't know if that is true because I never tried to sell one.

I've found 2006-D Cents with the same strength of the bar. They are out there and jump out at you when you find one.

1999D-1DR-002 I just double checked http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds i'd say definitely based on your photos compared to theirs.i was able to just make out the NW to SE die scratch (just NW of linc's head).or starting at linc's left ear going up NW from ear.as well as the extra knee and leg (between linc's legs).

I keep them. They may not be as exciting as some doubled dies, but they are a variety nonetheless. Certainly worth more than face value, which is always a plus!
